I prefer HDR as I can watch Disney+ directly on the TV, so I’ll probably just avoid buying anything from Movies + TV and watch Disney+ directly on the TV until this is figured out. HDR does get turned on for games but then I lose HDCP again. If I go back and turn that on in TV settings, That’s what the UHD Color setting controls on the TV. But my Display settings on my console now said my TV didn’t support 10-bit nor HDR. * Power on TV, then Soundbar, then Series XĪfter all this I did get back HDCP playback on both Disney+ and Movies + TV. On September 4, 2012, Amazon signed a deal with pay-TV channel Epix to feature movies on their streaming service, in a move to rival their competitor Netflix. * Plug in HDMI cables, in this order: OneConnect, Soundbar, Series X * Plug back power, in this order: TV, then Soundbar, then Xbox Series X * Disconnect One Connect box from back of TV * Disconnect all HDMI plugs from both ends of TV, soundbar and Series X * Disconnect power cable from TV, soundbar, and Xbox Series X * On the Samsung TV Display settings, go to UHD HDMI Color for port HDMI4 and set it to Off (this is the TV ARC port on my OneConnect box) This got rid of the HDCP errors at the cost of HDR: I guess we can have either HDR OR HDCP, but not both. After re-enabling HDR I got back to square 1 wtih HDCP errors. I got HDCP working again but only after I disabled HDR. Well - I made a little progress, not a lot.
